IT and Device Management Specialist - Elenium Oy - Tampere, Finland

We are looking for a practical and proactive individual to manage Elenium's IT environment and to work as part of the MaterialPort team on tasks related to devices, deployment, and customer solutions. The role combines traditional IT infrastructure management, user support, and information security with device management, deployment, and technical support related to MaterialPort solutions. The position offers an opportunity to influence the company's operations, technology, and process development broadly. Our MaterialPort solutions include various self-service and logistics devices such as information displays, payment terminals, phones, cameras, computers, and other devices installed in customer environments. You will be responsible for their lifecycle management, deployment, documentation, and technical development in collaboration with the team. Explore our product family: materialport.com In the role, you will be responsible for, for example: Internal IT and Infrastructure - Maintaining and developing Google Workspace environment - Managing user accounts, permissions, and licenses - Managing workstations, mobile devices, and other IT equipment - Implementing data security and privacy practices - Providing IT and security support to staff - Creating IT documentation, backups, and developing operational procedures MaterialPort Devices and Deliveries - Procuring, registering, and managing device lifecycle - Planning and executing deployments - Installing devices in customer environments and troubleshooting - Coordinating delivery projects - Maintaining documentation related to devices - Developing and automating device management and deployment processes We hope you have: - Experience in maintaining IT environments - Basic knowledge of networks, operating systems, and security - Ability to solve problems independently - Systematic work approach and good documentation skills - Willingness to develop operations and automate routines - Good communication and collaboration skills Additional valued skills include: - Google Workspace expertise - Linux knowledge - Familiarity with Atlassian tools - Experience in device management or fieldwork - Experience with AI tools in work, documentation, data management, or automation What kind of person succeeds in this role? Additional information about the position: Salary ranges from €3900 to €4900/month depending on experience, plus per diems and mileage allowances for installation and deployment trips.
