Job Description
We are seeking a chief physician for the youth psychiatry clinic of Pohjanmaa Wellbeing Services in Vaasa. The youth psychiatry clinic provides assessment and treatment for 13-17-year-olds in collaboration with their families when primary health services are insufficient. In addition to clinical work, the chief physician is responsible for the operation and development of the youth psychiatry clinic in cooperation with the chief medical officer. In addition to salary, it is possible to receive a language allowance and other allowances based on your work experience. Qualifications: Suitable specialist medical training as defined in the Act on Healthcare Professionals (559/1994) Section 4a. Licensed specialist doctor in Finland. Good oral and written skills in both national languages of Finland. The selected candidate must provide a medical certificate of health and a criminal record extract (Child Welfare Act 504/2002) before taking up the position. Additionally, the candidate must have valid vaccination protection according to the Infectious Diseases Act (1227/2016) Section 48. A probationary period applies.
