We are looking for individuals to work at a data center construction site in Vaasa for our client company. The recruitment is carried out in cooperation with our client company and Wulff Works, but applications and inquiries are handled by Wulff Works to streamline the workload. The work begins in early August, and there is a possibility of employment for up to two years. What does a spotter do? Spotters are individuals responsible for ensuring safety and supporting smooth daily operations on the construction site. During the day, the spotter directs the movement of vehicles and machinery in tight or busy work conditions and supports the safe execution of lifting operations in collaboration with crane operators and installers. They ensure that pedestrians can move safely within the site and monitor blind spots of machines where the driver has no direct visibility. The job also includes supervising work areas and isolating them if necessary to prevent unauthorized access to dangerous zones. The spotter maintains constant communication with machine operators and other workers via radio or agreed hand signals, ensuring all work phases proceed safely. Additionally, they actively observe safety conditions, identify potential risks in advance, and intervene in hazardous situations before accidents occur. The spotter is a vital part of the site's safety culture and smooth operations. Applicants must have a valid occupational safety card and a road safety card, and be of legal age. The job also requires speaking English, so a reasonable command of English is considered essential, as well as a reasonable command of Finnish.
