Job Description
The Clerk of the Parliament acts as the personal secretary to the Deputy Speakers of the Parliament and assists the Assistant Secretary General and the Director of Legislation in administrative tasks. The role emphasizes overall management and ensuring smooth work for the Deputy Speakers in changing situations. The Clerk's duties include planning and managing the schedules of the Deputy Speakers, coordinating communication, and organizing meetings and events. Additionally, responsibilities involve travel arrangements, organizing visits, preparing and compiling documents and presentation materials, and working closely with internal and external stakeholders of the Parliament. The role also includes supporting the preparation of decision-making processes at the leadership level.
