Would you like to work on the world's most magnificent cruise ships? Join SC's team! Shipbuilding Completion Oy specializes in the total delivery of public spaces for cruise and passenger ships. Our parent company, Meyer Turku Oy, is one of Europe's leading shipbuilding companies. In our comfortable facilities located next to the Turku shipyard, nearly 50 professionals work. Our procurement team is looking for reinforcement PROJECT COORDINATOR/PURCHASER to handle procurement and project tasks for our ship interior projects in collaboration with the project manager. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the timely progress of the project. You will support the project manager in project execution, schedule and cost tracking, and managing large entities. You will participate in project procurements, ensuring that all necessary items are purchased and delivered on time, monitor deliveries, and serve as a key link in our logistics chain. Your responsibilities include various project documentation tasks (e.g., handover materials, certificates) and permit matters (e.g., access permits for subcontractors to the shipyard). You will play a central role in the project team and maintain contact with your supervisor, design, as well as the shipyard and equipment supplier contacts. We are looking for someone with an interest and enthusiasm to develop as a project management expert in the maritime industry and who can thrive in a sometimes hectic work environment. To succeed in this role, you are organized and want to do things right the first time. You will bring a positive attitude to our work community. Our working language is Finnish, and you also need fluent English to perform your tasks. We hope you have: - a suitable technical or commercial education - a few years of experience in similar roles - good cooperation and communication skills - initiative, accuracy, and a desire for continuous development - proficient skills in Microsoft Office programs - teamwork skills - strong spoken and written English skills Previous experience in ship interior projects is appreciated.
