Staff Engineer, Backend - Revenue - Zapier - Remote - Global

We are hiring a Staff Engineer to own the technical vision and long-term architecture for Revenue Zone. The role involves defining pricing primitives, service boundaries, and data models to enable rapid deployment of pricing and packaging changes, ensuring accuracy and scalability. The engineer will design frameworks, build configuration-driven infrastructure, and ensure the platform evolves without foundational rewrites. This is a production-critical, finance-grade infrastructure role working closely with Product, Engineering, Finance, and Sales teams. Responsibilities include shaping platform vision, leading technical initiatives, owning revenue-critical systems, influencing API and system architecture, collaborating across teams, driving performance improvements, mentoring engineers, and championing documentation and developer experience.
