We are seeking a project coordinator for the YHTEINEN PÄIJÄTHÄME - common direction of basic education development project, running from September 1, 2026 (or as agreed) to July 31, 2028. The project aims to develop inter-municipal cooperation in organizing basic education in a situation where declining student cohorts require new regional solutions. The project coordinator will be responsible for coordinating and managing the practical implementation of the project. This includes coordinating regional cooperation in organizing basic education, particularly in shared teaching solutions, remote learning, service network planning, and school transportation development. The coordinator will support the work of the development team, coordinate studies and pilot projects, and promote the professional development of teachers and principals regionally. The role also involves supporting the planning of shared pedagogical approaches as part of the project, utilizing shared data and regional situational awareness for decision-making. Additionally, the coordinator will handle the project's finances, documentation, schedules, evaluations, and reporting, as well as promote communication and utilization of the project results.
