Social Worker, Substance Abuse Treatment Services - Vantaan ja Keravan hyvinvointialue - Vantaa, Finland

We are building a well-being area in Vantaa that residents can trust, guided by values of justice, responsibility, and courage. We are seeking three (3) social workers for permanent positions in substance abuse treatment services. One will be based in Myyrmäki, starting 27 July, and two in Tikkurila, starting 24 August. The work involves opioid substitution treatment and harm reduction work, including acting as a caseworker for substitution patients, group and individual work, and multidisciplinary collaboration. The role requires genuine interest in addiction work, good communication skills, initiative, and experience in substance abuse treatment. Finnish language skills are essential. The work includes assessment and initiation of substitution therapy, psychosocial support, and community-based harm reduction activities. The team consists of experienced social and health care professionals, with support from leadership and regular supervision.
