Job Description
Shopify is looking for an experienced compliance Money Laundering Reporting Officer (MLRO) to lead our local AML and CTF efforts in Luxembourg. The role involves supporting the licensing process for an EU EMI license, designing and implementing AML/CTF programs, responding to regulatory inquiries, managing suspicious activity reports, and ensuring compliance with Luxembourg's financial regulations. The candidate must have significant experience in EU-regulated financial institutions, direct MLRO responsibility, and strong AML knowledge. Residency in Luxembourg and advanced English skills are required. Nice to have: AML certification and French language skills.
