Porvoo Meal and Cleaning Services is a department of the City of Porvoo responsible for meal and cleaning services within the city. We employ approximately 170 professionals in cleaning and meal services. We are currently seeking a Service Supervisor for the Pääskytie school area kitchen, to start on July 20, 2026, with a permanent contract. Our central kitchen was completed in January 2018, utilizing the latest technology available on the market. The kitchen prepares approximately 9,500 meals daily using cold preparation and cook and chill methods. The meals are sent daily to our service and distribution kitchens, daycare centers, and schools. The Pääskytie area kitchen functions as a distribution kitchen for smaller client sites and as a service kitchen for school staff and approximately 600 students. Our multicultural work community has a good working atmosphere and a proactive approach. The duties of the Service Supervisor include customer cooperation, kitchen management, and development of services and operations in collaboration with the department management. Qualifications required for the position include a degree as a Restonom or a suitable vocational qualification. Additionally, relevant experience as a supervisor in a professional kitchen is required. Finnish language skills are mandatory, and Swedish language skills are advantageous. Applicants are expected to have good IT skills, especially with the Aromi production control system, as well as strong communication and collaboration skills and an innovative attitude. The trial period is six months. Full-time position, 38.25 hours per week. The salary is in accordance with the local collective agreement, with a level salary of 2,958.30 euros per month.
