English teacher position starting 1.8.2026 We are seeking an English teacher for Mäntyharju to a permanent position. Mäntyharju High School has about 120 students. It is the largest high school outside the cities in South Savo. Students enjoy studying here, and in recent years, many young people from neighboring municipalities have applied to Mäntyharju High School. Collaboration between students and teachers works well! Teacher qualifications are determined according to the decree no 986/1998 on the qualifications of education personnel. We value experience in teaching at the high school level, good command of the subject, initiative, willingness to develop and improve, good cooperation skills with staff and students, strong ICT skills, and a good understanding of high school students’ development. Experience in student guidance is also considered an advantage. Salary is in accordance with OVTES. The selected candidate must present a criminal record extract related to working with children and a medical certificate of health before starting work.
