Job Description
You are a persistent, careful, and analytical problem solver. You are proficient in light microscopy, spectroscopy, chromatography, and mass spectrometry both in theory and practice. The role involves performing and reporting forensic laboratory analyses, developing and maintaining research and quality assurance methods in some of the aforementioned fields. The main focus is on fiber research, which requires fine motor skills and stereomicroscopy. The selected person will participate in sample handling, analysis execution, result interpretation, and reporting. The role also includes training, stakeholder collaboration, and international cooperation. We offer additional training if needed. There is also an opportunity for occasional remote work (1-2 days/month). In line with our strategy, we emphasize versatility among staff and use personnel resources flexibly according to operational needs. We require our staff to be adaptable and ready to take on different tasks within the agency as needed.
