We are seeking a full-time substitute teacher for Annala School to teach Finnish as a Second Language (S2) in elementary school from 4.8.2026 to 29.5.2027. Qualifications are determined according to the decree on the qualifications of education personnel 986/1998. The required teaching qualification; degree, taught subjects (ECTS credits/credit points), and pedagogical studies should be specified in detail. The required qualification must be obtained before the application deadline. In fixed-term positions, applicants who meet the qualification requirements are prioritized; however, applicants without the required qualification may also be considered. The selected candidate must present a criminal record extract related to working with children, issued under the Act on Background Checks for Persons Working with Children (504/2002), in accordance with the Criminal Records Act (770/1993) section 6, subsection 2. Some of our tasks include health status checks under section 55 of the Infectious Diseases Act, so a tuberculosis examination of the respiratory system may be required.
