Do you want to do meaningful work with the elderly? We are looking for a practical nurse for a permanent position in a Swedish-speaking 24-hour care unit, Group Home Stenäng, at Kivelä Senior Center. We are looking for a cheerful, positive, and proactive practical nurse who meets residents with warmth and respect. We hope you want to support the well-being, functional capacity, and daily life of the elderly and bring joy to their day. With us, you will work in a customer-oriented manner and will also be able to influence your own work and the development of the group home's operations. We speak Swedish with the residents. We use the Apotti information system and the RAI assessment scale in Finnish, and the daily interaction within the work community takes place mainly in Finnish. You will work as part of a professional multidisciplinary team consisting of practical nurses, registered nurses, a physiotherapist, an occupational therapist, a social instructor, and a doctor as a partner. The work of a practical nurse is versatile three-shift work, where every day offers new encounters and opportunities to influence the clients' good life. Vaccination protection according to Section 48 of the Communicable Diseases Act and a tuberculosis clearance according to Section 55 are required. - Successful completion of the LOP/LOVe medication permit by the end of the probationary period is required. - The selected person must present a criminal record extract in accordance with the law on the investigation of the criminal background of those working with elderly people before accepting the position. We consider previous experience working with the elderly, proficiency in using the RAI assessment system and Apotti patient information system, and valid LOVE medication permits as an advantage.
