Pfeifer Nordics Oy is part of the Austrian Pfeifer Group, which employs approximately 2,600 people across fifteen different sites in Austria, Germany, the Czech Republic, and Finland. We have over fifty years of experience in wood processing. Our sawmills and further processing plants are located in the best wood raw material areas in Kuusamo, Taivalkoski, and Kajaani. We have a pressure impregnation plant in Oulu. Our annual turnover is approximately 180 million euros. About 80% of our products are exported. We employ about 420 professionals in the field. More information at www.polkky.com We are seeking for our Kitka production plant A FOREMAN for a permanent employment contract. As a Foreman, you will be responsible for the safe, efficient, and quality-compliant operation of your work department, production steering, daily management of your team, and personnel resource management. You are able to organize daily work in a changing environment while maintaining control. You see the larger goal in the background and approach work development enthusiastically and purposefully. You have good interaction, cooperation, and professional life skills, as well as stress tolerance, organizational skills, and decision-making ability. You are the person we are looking for if you have experience in similar roles or high motivation to learn them, a great attitude, and an interest in developing your own and your team's professional skills based on the principle of continuous improvement.
