Would you be Jula's new store manager? A new Jula department store will open in Lahti in early 2027 – come join a top team, build something new and be part of Jula Finland's success story! We are looking for a store manager for the new department store to be responsible for the operational activities of the Jula location in Lahti and to provide first-class customer service to Jula's customers. Work begins in late 2026 with comprehensive induction, during which you will visit Jula's units in Finland. In the store manager's job, you will implement a sales strategy based on Jula's vision and mission and be responsible for the department store's operation and result. After the induction period, the construction of the store begins. What is the job description of Jula's store manager? As store manager, you represent Jula as an employer and are responsible for the store's staff as well as the unit's result and profitability. You are responsible for maximizing sales and monitoring results. The department store's management team will assist you, and you are responsible for the result to the regional manager. At Jula, the store manager's job description includes personnel and result responsibility. You are responsible for the planning and implementation of the department store's operations - from season and campaign planning to personnel planning and recruitment. Your work includes ensuring and developing employees' skills and solving possible problem situations and challenges. In your work, you participate in and are responsible for the tasks that occur in the department store's everyday life, such as customer service, sales, cashier work, warehouse and shelving. We hope that you lead employees by your own example, serving customers with quality and efficiency. We value good interaction and communication skills as well as the courage to actively take hold of things. The department store is open every day of the week, so please be prepared to work during all the department store's opening hours. What kind of work friend are we looking for in our happy group? You should have previous work experience from the retail sector and supervisory experience. Retail education and/or possible product knowledge of the products in Jula's product range are considered an advantage for the applicant.
