Combined Worker, Institutional Care and Food Services - Etelä-Savon hyvinvointialue - Mikkeli, Finland

South Savo Welfare Area Eloisa is seeking a combined worker for a permanent position starting from October 5, 2026, or according to agreement. The position is located at the Mikkeli Central Hospital catering center and service homes Graani, Saimaanharju, and Pietarinpirtti. Interviews are being conducted during the application period. The role of the combined worker includes work in food and cleaning services. In food services, daily preparation of both patient meals and staff meals is carried out. The work is performed in two shifts at both the central hospital and the service homes. The combined worker also handles daily cleaning tasks and participates in bed maintenance duties. Qualifications include a basic qualification in institutional cleaning or a basic qualification in the food sector, a professional qualification, or other suitable education for the task. Additionally, sufficient oral and written Finnish language skills and a hygiene passport are required. A six (6) month trial period applies to the employment relationship. Persons working with the elderly must present an acceptable criminal record extract before starting work if the employment exceeds 3 months (Supervision Act 741/2023, Section 28).
