Job Description
Lintukulma Daycare is looking for a sensitive and professional childcare worker who wants to help build a safe, warm, and supportive learning environment for children of different ages. If you value individual interaction with children in the spirit of positive pedagogy, you will likely enjoy working with us. At Lintukulma Daycare, we work closely across groups, support each other, and appreciate each educator's contribution. As an early childhood educator, you will participate in shaping the culture and learning environment of your child group, planning and implementing activities, and developing and evaluating them together with other staff members, in accordance with Espoo's curriculum, group curriculum, and early childhood education plan. An important part of your work is also strengthening community spirit through cross-group collaboration and working with parents. Workplace name and address: Lintukulma Daycare, Lintuparventie 4, 02660 Espoo. Working hours: 38 hours 15 minutes/week. The position is temporary from August 3, 2026, to May 31, 2027. We will consider all applications received during the application period. We may process applications and conduct interviews during the application period. The final selection will be made after the application period ends and interviews are completed.

Responsibilities

Requirements
- Qualification in accordance with the Early Childhood Education Act (540/2018, Section 28, Regulation 753/2018, Sections 3 and 4)
- Basic degree in education and guidance, social and health care, or other equivalent qualifications including extensive studies in child care, upbringing, and education
- Criminal record extract as specified in the Criminal Records Act, Section 6.2
- Assessment of tuberculosis transmission risk as required by the Infectious Diseases Act
