Team Leader for Mechanical Design - DYNASET Oy - Ylöjärvi, Finland

Are you a professional in mechanical design with experience and a desire to lead people and promote Finnish technological expertise worldwide? DYNASET Oy is a world leader in manufacturing hydraulic generators, high-pressure washers, and compressors. We are now looking for an energetic and skilled team leader for our mechanical design team for a permanent position in Ylöjärvi. In this role, you will lead a team of five professionals and play a central role in the success of our product development and customer projects, as well as in building smooth collaboration with other departments. What does the role involve? As a team leader, you will allocate your working time between supporting your team in employment matters and task organization, as well as in operational development and practical design work. You will ensure that your team’s daily work runs smoothly, projects progress on schedule, and quality remains high, while also supporting and assisting other experts. Your key responsibilities include: - Daily management and resourcing of the mechanical design team - Continuous development of design processes and tools - Close collaboration with production, sales, and product development teams - Participation in mechanical and hydraulic design as a subject matter expert What do we expect from you? You have a firm but people-oriented approach to leadership. We hope you have: - Experience in team leadership or managerial roles - Good communication and interaction skills - Appropriate technical education (e.g., MSc or BEng) and several years of experience in mechanical design - Knowledge of hydraulics and understanding of hydraulic systems, as well as proficiency in drawing annotations and tolerances - Fluent communication skills in Finnish and English with team members, customers, and partners - Experience with SolidWorks, Windchill PLM, and E3 software is considered an advantage What do we offer you?
