Job Description
Join UPM's Process Design Team in the Next Generation Technology Unit as a Process Modeling and Simulation Engineer. Develop and optimize chemical, fuel, and refining processes, focusing on biorefinery modeling, including assessing impacts of new installations and retrofits. Participate in all phases of technology development from concept to implementation. The role is based in Helsinki, Lappeenranta, Finland, or Leuna, Germany. The ideal candidate has a degree in Chemical Engineering or related field, extensive experience in process design, and proficiency with simulation programs like gPROMS, ASPEN Plus, CHEMCAD, or HYSYS. Fluency in English and willingness to travel are required.
