In early childhood education, every day is the most important in the world! As a childcare worker, you will participate in implementing high-quality early childhood education, creating opportunities for each child's growth and development in a manner suited to them. We are currently hiring childcare workers for various fixed-term positions lasting at least two months across Helsinki, mainly in one group, starting in January-February. We also seek part-time workers and those interested in integrated special groups. You can apply for all open fixed-term childcare positions with one application. As a childcare worker, you will plan and implement pedagogically focused care, upbringing, and education together with other staff according to the unit's operational plan, Helsinki's early childhood education plan, pre-primary education plan, and the child's early childhood education plan. You will respond to children's needs in daily activities and promote their health and well-being. We expect from you: sensitive interaction and child-centered approach, courage to guide a group and take responsibility, good interaction and cooperation skills, activity, and commitment. Requirements: a basic qualification in education and guidance, social and health care, or equivalent, with sufficient modules in child care, upbringing, and education; good spoken and written Finnish skills; a valid criminal background check for working with children; tuberculosis clearance for working with underage children.
