Senior Lawyer

We are seeking a senior lawyer to support our corporate financing activities at OP Uusimaa in Helsinki. The role involves ensuring the smooth execution of corporate financing processes, providing solution-focused and professional legal support to corporate clients, drafting and reviewing financing documents (including LMA templates), negotiating contract terms, and developing financing processes together with business colleagues. The candidate will work closely with experienced lawyers, finance leaders, and other stakeholders, contributing to high‑impact corporate financing arrangements, corporate reorganisations, and related transactions. The position is permanent with a flexible start date. Requirements include a Master of Laws degree or equivalent, at least five years’ experience in corporate finance, banking or a law firm, experience with drafting and negotiating LMA-based documents and other finance agreements, independent decision-making, strong written and oral communication skills in Finnish and English (Swedish an advantage). The successful candidate will be a trusted business partner, capable of independent work, prioritisation, and driving complex transactions to completion, with excellent negotiation and relationship-building skills.
