You will adapt to changing situations and provide security – join Touhula as a traveling early childhood care worker. We are seeking a roaming caregiver for Touhula daycares in Vantaa. For Touhula families, children and stability matter; you will be the flexible, approachable professional who arrives when extra hands are needed or when a substitute is required. Your work is varied and may involve locations changing within the region or shift-by-shift changes, making every day a new opportunity. You will become a welcomed teammate, joining diverse work communities and learning best practices from different units in the field. As a roaming caregiver you will work across all eight Touhula daycares in Vantaa: Aarrekallio, Hiekkaharju, Ilola, Jalokivi, Kaivoksela, Korso, LoistoVekara and Veromies. Touhula’s versatile environments offer a varied and rewarding daily life where you support children’s growth, development and well‑being and implement high‑quality early childhood education across Vantaa. In the roaming role you will contribute your expertise to different teams and ensure a safe, smooth everyday life for children in daycare centers. Your tasks as a roaming educator include presence and security: you meet every child as an individual and act as a safe adult during the day, even if the group or house changes. Flexible pedagogy: participate in daily caregiving and small‑group activities in accordance with the needs of the group and Touhula Rhythm. Adaptability: foster a positive atmosphere and quickly adjust to different work communities, bringing good energy. Team support: cover for absences and ensure the group’s routines run smoothly and with quality even when regular staff are away. The monthly salary for a full‑time roaming early childhood care worker falls between €2,674.44 and €2,874.54 per month. Final pay is based on prior experience and special skills. We expect you to have the required education for early childhood education (even students can be considered), flexibility and the ability to adapt to changing situations and different work communities, a sensitive and responsible approach to work, and a clean criminal record as required by law.
