Job Description
The duties of the physical education teacher at the workers' institute include teaching, guiding, and developing activities related to physical education. The primary focus areas are senior fitness and peer guidance activities. The teacher plans lessons within their area of responsibility, supervises part-time teachers, participates in the pedagogical development of the entire institute, curriculum work, and assessment of teaching. The role also involves planning, managing, developing, and marketing courses, as well as teaching. Collaboration with clients and other stakeholders, booking facilities, and planning and implementing swimming lessons are also part of the job. Success in this role requires: - Independent work style, flexibility, and ability to operate in different environments - Ability to work with various target groups - Creativity, initiative, and ability to bring new ideas - Versatile knowledge of physical activity and guiding experience. The minimum qualification is a suitable higher education degree and certification as a physical education teacher. Experience in special sports instruction/guidance and swimming instruction is considered an advantage. Working hours and salary are determined according to OVTES. The annual workload is 930 hours, of which approximately 580 hours are teaching duties and 350 hours are for other tasks.
