We are seeking a coordinator for a permanent position in the southern Oulu region disability services in Kalajoki. Join us in an interesting team leader role in housing services for people with disabilities. Your workplace will be Kalajoki group home Puistola and Himanka group home Kalliokoti. Kalliokoti provides 24-hour accommodation services for clients with intellectual disabilities, while Puistola offers both 24-hour and supported housing services. The coordinator works on weekdays. The role includes, among other things: * Ensuring smooth daily operations and organization in the housing units * Administrative tasks, such as shift planning * Developing activities * Collaborating with various stakeholders The goal of the work is to enable each of our clients to have a good everyday life in a homely environment, support their independence, and promote participation in society. We value initiative, communication and teamwork skills, as well as an active and developmental work attitude. Experience working with clients with intellectual disabilities is considered an advantage. The qualification requirement is a suitable university of applied sciences degree or a previous vocational qualification in the field, and a qualification according to the Act on Social Welfare Professionals 817/2015 §8 or a basic social services qualification. We will verify original diplomas and employment certificates from those invited for an interview. Applicants must be registered in the register maintained by the National Supervisory Authority for Welfare and Health (Terhikki and/or Suosikki). Interviews will be held in weeks 23 or 24. Invitations will be sent personally. We observe a trial period of up to 6 months for employment relationships. Regarding staff vaccination, we follow the vaccination requirements under the Employment and Infectious Diseases Act.
