Practical Nurse - Helsingin kaupunki - Helsinki, Finland

We are looking for two practical nurses for the Majparken group home in Helsinki. The employment relationships are permanent (valid until further notice) and start according to the agreement. This is shift work. Toukolanpuisto group home is located in Arabianranta on Kustaanmiekankuja (Byholmsgränden). The unit was opened in 2013 and has a total of 19 clients. In addition to housing operations, the staff makes support visits to 5 clients. We offer home-like and service-oriented housing operations based on the clients' own wishes and needs. We work together to create a safe and stimulating home environment that includes meaningful activities. We also strive to offer our clients the opportunity for an active leisure time on their own terms. We work with a socio-pedagogical approach, and at the center are the clients' participation, right to self-determination and freedom of choice. Eligibility requirement is a suitable vocational qualification (practical nurse or equivalent), and the applicant must present a certificate of registration with the Social and Health Care Permit and Supervision Authority (formerly Valvira). The language skill requirement is good oral and satisfactory written skill in Swedish and satisfactory oral and written skill in Finnish. The position requires vaccination protection according to Section 48 of the Communicable Diseases Act.
