Join a forward-looking education team where you can utilize your strengths! We are seeking a children's supervisor for a fixed-term position from August 1 to December 31, 2026. We offer a diverse role focused on working with families and children. The position involves group activities, various children's and family events, as well as camp and excursion activities. The work also includes participation in early youth and confirmation classes as needed. Working hours are primarily on weekdays, but include regular evening work and, depending on the situation, weekend and camp work. We are looking for a church-committed, child-oriented, active, and development-minded children's supervisor. You are proactive and enthusiastic about your work, which you perform beyond your job description and in collaboration with other local actors. We hope you have communication skills. Additionally, we value skills in music and physical activity. The ideal candidate has a basic qualification in education and guidance (children's supervisor) or another qualification suitable for a church children's supervisor role. Since this is a substitute position, students can also be considered. The selected candidate must be a confirmed member of the Evangelical Lutheran Church of Finland. The position includes a 3-week adjustment period with a work time of 114.75 hours. The salary is according to the church's qualification requirements (KirVESTES) in the demanding group 402, with possible experience or performance bonuses. The role requires the ability to use a personal car. The selected candidate will have a two-month probation period. They must provide a criminal background check as specified in section 6, paragraph 2 of the Criminal Records Act before starting the role. The application period is from May 22 to June 7, 2025.
