The Senior Backend Developer works on Immense’ in-house projects by designing features, writing code, performing code reviews, solving problems, tracking down bugs and delivering stable and well written solutions. Responsibilities include designing and developing new backend features, performing requirements analysis, writing high-quality code and documentation, collaborating with other teams, applying analytical skills, tracking requests and issues, providing estimates, managing project priorities, working with external partners, managing code changes, performing code reviews, and other related tasks. Candidates should have a bachelor’s degree in computer science or similar, experience with PHP, Laravel, payment systems, REST or GraphQL, scalable high-performance applications, Linux, documentation, testing, attention to detail, minimal supervision, AI tools, and proficiency in English.
