Job Description
Our team has an opening for a practical nurse who wants to do meaningful work in a client's home! We are looking for practical nurses or students in the field to work in the home of a client receiving disability services. The work begins as soon as possible with orientation. We work in three shifts, but you can express preferences regarding shifts based on your situation. Shift lengths and start times are fixed. The working language is fluent Finnish. You are the person we are looking for if you share our values in your daily work: reliability, friendliness, and flexibility. You are a person with a positive attitude towards life and a desire to develop our operations. At Onni, we understand that home is a person's most cherished place. We support the functional capacity of clients living at home and enable them to live at home according to their individual needs. Home care services support clients in daily activities they cannot perform independently. Services include medical and medication management, health promotion, personal hygiene and nutrition, as well as rehabilitative care to maintain functional capacity. We have time to listen to clients and their loved ones, exchange news, and our care services are primarily about caring. You have a practical nurse qualification, vaccination protection according to section 48 of the Infectious Diseases Act, and current theoretical studies in medication management (which you can also complete with us if needed). Previous experience in similar tasks, catheterization, and assistive device knowledge are appreciated. If you wish to work with other home care clients as needed, you must have a driver’s license and access to a car. We pay mileage according to state travel regulations. You do not need a car for this client. We offer meaningful and varied work along with comprehensive orientation. We support skill development through regular training.
