Business Development Manager, Flexibility - Fortum Oyj - Remote - Global

As a Business Development Manager in the Flexibility Growth team, you will drive important initiatives that develop and scale our business towards our customers and the physical electricity markets. You will coordinate and drive complex, cross-functional initiatives involving multiple internal and external stakeholders, work closely with senior stakeholders, and contribute to leadership level communication. You will support the execution of Fortum’s Flexibility strategy by aligning a portfolio of all Flexibility cases, identifying synergies, and exploring new business opportunities. Your work will involve analyzing business cases from consumer solutions to large storage assets, based on understanding how different puzzle pieces fit together to form competitive, operatively manageable solutions. The role is based in Espoo, Finland, and involves working on projects that support decarbonization and electrification of the energy system. You should have over 5 years of relevant experience in energy systems, market analysis, or business development, strong problem-solving skills, and excellent communication in English.
