Specializing in game and local produce, Kultala serves overnight guests with breakfast, a buffet dinner, and in spring as a cross-country ski café. We are now looking for a cook for Ruka for the 2026-2027 winter season! Restaurant Kultala is a catering restaurant, so your duties will include preparing high-quality buffet and à la carte dishes. We require you to have vocational training in the field and some years of experience in the kitchen. Finnish language skills are essential, and English skills are also needed as the customer base is international during winter. A genuine desire to prepare quality food and provide customer service should come naturally. You are quick, proactive, and comfortable with customer interactions, which will help you succeed in the role. We offer you the opportunity to work in a stunning mountain setting. The work begins in early December and continues until the end of March 2027. The salary is competitive, approximately 15-17€/h depending on your skills and experience, and if needed, accommodation at the site can be arranged at an affordable price. We will visit you on-site from time to time. You can therefore focus on your work and enjoying the mountain.
