Alarm Supervisor – join us in building a modern monitoring service! If your answer is yes, continue reading. We are currently hiring an alarm supervisor for a permanent position as part of our developing monitoring service. In this role, you will monitor and control building technical systems, handle alarms, and participate in developing monitoring procedures. As an alarm supervisor, you will receive, analyze, and prioritize alarms from building technical systems and initiate necessary follow-up actions. You will utilize monitoring systems, remote connections, and clear operational procedures. Additionally, you will document actions taken and participate in developing monitoring processes, reporting, and tools. Key responsibilities - Receive and handle alarms from building automation and notifications from properties - Prioritize alarms and direct necessary tasks to maintenance - Analyze situations and resolve issues via remote connections - Record and report actions taken - Participate in developing monitoring procedures and processes What do we expect from you? - Suitable technical education or equivalent work experience in building automation, facility management, or property maintenance - Understanding of HVAC, electrical, and automation systems in buildings - Good IT skills and willingness to learn new systems - Systematic and instructions-based work approach - Fluent Finnish and basic English skills - Willingness to work in shifts Preferred qualifications: - Experience with building automation, monitoring, or service management systems - Background in monitoring work, remote supervision, maintenance control, or technical fault diagnosis - Interest in developing processes and operational procedures - Technician or engineer degree, for example in building automation, HVAC, or building technology You will succeed if you stay calm and operational even in busy situations. You are organized, meticulous, and solution-oriented, taking initiative and responsibility for your work.
