Fiber Optic Network Designer - Eltel Networks Oy

Eltel Communications business unit is seeking Fiber Optic Network Designers for various locations across Finland. The position is permanent, and work can start as soon as possible according to the agreement. As a fiber optic network designer, you will be responsible for the detailed planning and documentation of fixed telecommunications networks built for network operators in the KeyCom system. Your tasks include terrain planning for excavation routes, obtaining permits and necessary statements for project implementation, defining materials, creating work maps, connection diagrams, cost estimates, and maintaining network documentation. What are we looking for? We expect you to have relevant education (e.g., in electrical or information and communication technology) or equivalent experience gained through work. We value an active work approach and a desire to learn and develop professionally. Success in this role requires fluent Finnish language skills and good IT skills. Experience with network information systems used by operators (NIMS, Keycom, SNET) and experience in earthworks or terrain planning are considered advantages.
