Information Security Specialist, detection and response - CSC - Remote - Global

We are now looking for a Security Specialist for the detection and response service owner role, responsible for developing and leading CSC's capability to detect and handle security incidents. The role includes strategic planning, operational management, and compliance assurance with a strong understanding of technical arrangements. You will work alongside a security expert focused on detection and response technologies. Our team manages CSC's security governance and monitoring, covering security management, information, physical, and personnel security. We develop centralized security capabilities and management models. We are a growing team where expertise and professionalism are central. In this role, you will help safeguard supercomputers, AI environments, national cloud services, and other critical infrastructure, often read only about in LinkedIn posts. We seek a person with a university degree in security, information technology, cybersecurity, IT, or a related technical field, with solid experience in security tasks, including monitoring and investigating security breaches, and leadership experience in teams, processes, or services. You will be responsible for the detection and response service as a whole, including developing and implementing development plans, documentation, and operational instructions for internal teams and external SOC. Manage vendor relationships, contracts, and budgets. Monitor SOC performance: KPI metrics, SLA requirements, and audit readiness. Act as the primary contact between SOC and internal teams, ensuring operational and business goal alignment. Lead security breach handling and post-incident reviews. Lead the detection and response virtual team. Collaborate closely with various units to reduce security risks.
