Full-time Subject Teacher of Native Language, Literature, and S2 Instruction, Kajaani Upper Secondary School - Kajaanin kaupunki - Kajaani, Finland

The City of Kajaani is seeking a full-time, fixed-term teacher of native language, literature, and S2 instruction at Kajaani Upper Secondary School from August 1, 2026, to July 31, 2027. The position is a temporary replacement. We offer a diverse working environment in a fully renovated Kajaani Upper Secondary School, which serves approximately 600 students in basic education. The school also includes mathematics classes, special education classes, flexible basic education, and preparatory classes. The salary for qualified teachers of grades 7-9 is €3,220.91 per month. Qualifications include a valid qualification as a teacher of basic education in native language and literature (as per the requirements of the teaching staff regulation, decree no 986/1998). Certificates demonstrating qualifications will be verified during the interview if applicable. In the absence of qualified applicants, other candidates will be considered. Priority will be given to employees of the City of Kajaani who are on temporary layoff or have employment interruptions, provided they meet the qualification requirements.
