Asemantie Daycare Center is a year-round early childhood education provider located in the center of Savonlinna, with 9 children's groups. We value positive and open interaction with everyone and sensitive educators. Small group activities are implemented in all our children's groups. Roihuset materials supporting children's language development are also used in all groups. Movement and an active lifestyle are important for children of all ages. We appreciate interest in developing pedagogy together with the work team and community, as well as good interaction and presence skills. We expect the teacher to have good organizational skills and the ability to respond to changing situations. We are looking for an early childhood education teacher for a permanent position starting from September 1, 2026. The position is in a shift group for children under 3 years old. As an early childhood education teacher, we expect you to have good and versatile cooperation, interaction, and community skills. As an early childhood education teacher, you will be responsible for and promote the comprehensive planning, implementation, evaluation, and development of the children's group activities with your professional expertise. You will participate in cooperation with guardians, staff of other daycare groups, and other partners. Working hours: 38.15 hours/week. Qualification requirement: Qualification according to the Early Childhood Education Act (540/2018) section 26. Local salary: €2989.31/month. Collective agreement: OVTES. A six (6) month probationary period applies to the position. The selected candidate must provide a tuberculosis certificate in accordance with the Infectious Diseases Act (55§) and present a criminal record extract in accordance with the Act on Background Checks for Persons Working with Children (504/2002).
