Vantaa Vocational College Varia is a modern educational institution operated by the City of Vantaa, providing vocational training across five campuses throughout Vantaa. We are seeking a full-time teacher for the surface treatment team at Vantaa Vocational College Varia’s Hiekkaharju campus for the period 1.8.2026-31.7.2027. The teaching content mainly involves vocational studies of the surface treatment field supported by the Finnish language in a training setting. The role also includes responsibilities as a lead teacher. The work involves practical and theoretical teaching and guidance at the institution and on industry sites. It also includes networking, tasks related to personalizing student guidance, as well as development and planning tasks. We are looking for a flexible and experienced painting teacher who has previously worked extensively with immigrant students, is comfortable working in networks and adapting to change, and interacts respectfully with others.
