Job Description
We are hiring a temporary daycare assistant at Vasaramäki Daycare Center starting from August 3, 2026. The employment ends on June 30, 2027. The daycare assistant acts as a group and individual helper in a daycare group that includes children with enhanced or special support needs. The assistant familiarizes themselves with children's support needs, methods, and care procedures, and plans, implements, and evaluates activities together with the early childhood education teacher and special education teacher. They work with the children according to an agreed plan and support the activities of the team for children requiring assistance. They participate as a team member in cooperation with children's parents, the special education teacher, and other experts. The qualification requirement is a suitable vocational qualification, a relevant professional or special vocational qualification, or other applicable education.
