Site Manager - Destia Oy

Destia is seeking Site Managers for the Highway 15 project between Kouvola and Kotka, one of Finland's largest ongoing infrastructure projects. The project involves improving the highway with overtaking lanes, enhancing main junctions, and extensive road and intersection arrangements to increase safety and flow in the Kymenlaakso region. As a Site Manager, you will play a central role in directing the daily execution of the construction site, ensuring that work proceeds according to plan and safely. You will be at the core of the construction process, ensuring that work phases progress with high quality and on schedule in cooperation with the entire project organization. Key responsibilities include managing site logistics (materials, machinery, and resources), scheduling construction and resource management, quality assurance and reporting, cost monitoring of the site, directing subcontracting and fulfilling contract obligations, as well as onboarding the work team and ensuring their well-being. You will work closely with the site manager, other site leadership, designers, and other stakeholders. The position is permanent and primarily based on-site in the Kouvola and Kotka areas, requiring a willingness to travel.
