We are looking for an excavator operator for pipe trenching work in Tuusula! The position is for an excavator operator for the upcoming season on a fixed-term contract in pipe trenching in the Tuusula area. Depending on the site, the machine may be tracked or wheeled, so versatile experience with different types of excavators is a plus. Experience in pipe trenching is not necessarily required, but experience in the construction industry should be present. The work involves preparing the ground for fiber optic network installations, constructing weatherproof fiber networks, and occasionally switching from the machine controls to manual work with a shovel if needed. Work will start as soon as a suitable person is found and will be available at least until the snow arrives, possibly longer if conditions permit. If you possess the following qualities, you might be the person we are looking for: Experience in the construction industry is an advantage, experience in fiber optic work is a big plus – we primarily seek a motivated worker, but experience is not a disadvantage. Valid professional certificates (safety card and Tieturva card) – if not, they must be obtained before starting work. Good Finnish language skills – the working language is Finnish. High work ethic; the work is independent, and you are responsible for your own work quality. Good social skills; you can work well with people even in challenging situations.
