Summer job, Practical Nurse, Residential Services for People with Disabilities, Loimaa - Varsinais-Suomen hyvinvointialue - Loimaa, Finland

For summer 2026, we are looking for someone who wants to enhance the quality of life for adults with intellectual disabilities through their work. In your role, you will guide and support residents who benefit from autism rehabilitation in their daily activities: basic care, daytime activities, and evening hobbies such as horseback riding and outdoor activities. Your work is customer-oriented and guiding. You will have the opportunity to work in the cozy environment of Viklonpuisto in Loimaa Hirvikoski, which has three home groups and shared spaces such as a multi-purpose room and sauna. The environment offers a peaceful setting with nearby services and outdoor trails. The work involves shift work, including evenings and weekends. You will have the opportunity to develop your skills in disability work with a safe orientation. The work environment is diverse, and the role is meaningful in supporting residents' daily lives. The duration of the temporary position will be agreed upon once a suitable person is found. We will support and assist you – previous experience in disability work is beneficial, but you will not be alone. We hope you are autonomous, have good communication skills, and a respectful and human-centered approach. Additionally, we require you to be of legal age and genuinely interested in promoting the well-being of residents. The qualification requirement is a professional degree in social and health care (practical nurse). Finnish language skills are required for the role.
