HUS Helsinki University Hospital is seeking a registered nurse for a fixed-term position at the Children's Diabetes Clinics in the new children's hospital from June 8, 2026, to December 31, 2026. Responsibilities include conducting joint clinics with doctors and independent patient consultations by the nurse. The work emphasizes guiding and advising children and families, supporting self-care, and can sometimes be performed remotely. The selected candidate must present a criminal record extract as required by the Criminal Records Act (770/1993), section 6, subsection 2, for working with children. Language skills required are good oral and written Finnish and satisfactory oral and written Swedish, or good oral and written Swedish and satisfactory oral and written Finnish. We require vaccination against infectious diseases according to the Communicable Diseases Act for those working in customer and patient areas, and a health status report regarding tuberculosis for healthcare workers.
