Job Description

We are looking for an experienced and engaging Guide (Activities & Aurora) to join our team in Lapland. If you are passionate about the Arctic, have excellent conversational skills, and want to create unforgettable experiences sharing local nature, culture, and traditions, this position is for you. **Work Location & Conditions** - **Location:** Levi resort (with guiding duties extending to Rovaniemi), Lapland (Scandinavian Travel Group office) - **Main office language:** English - **Client languages:** English (Spanish, French, German, Dutch are major advantages) - **Schedule:** Full-time, flexible winter hours (according to agreement) - **Contract period:** 5 months, fixed-term 01.11.2026 to 31.03.2027 **Your Responsibilities** - Guiding non-motorized excursions, daily activities, and evening Northern Lights programs. - Driving guests safely in our 4x4 passenger vans to our private wilderness venues. - Hosting small-group visits to our partner reindeer forests and husky kennels, ensuring all animal welfare guidelines are strictly followed. - Guiding evening programs at Polarmans Camp and hosting masterclasses on basic winter survival skills at the Snow Igloo Park. - Guiding larger groups (up to 1 big bus) for a select few activities in Levi and Rovaniemi, though the majority of activities remain small-group focused. - Other tasks related to excursion operations and Arctic outdoor experiences. **You Are a Great Match If You Are:** - Experienced as a guide in Lapland with a strong understanding of local nature, culture, and traditions. - An excellent communicator with strong conversational skills to share accurate information with guests. - Confident in spoken and written English; additional languages are a major advantage. - Highly self-disciplined, responsible, and ready to work outdoors in demanding Arctic weather. - A holder of a Category B driving license with experience driving 4x4 passenger vans in Arctic winter conditions. **Required Experience:** - Previous guiding experience in Lapland.
