Technical Development Manager / Principal Architect - Crosskey - Remote - Global

As Technical Development Manager for Core and Credit, you play a key role in defining and driving the technical direction of the business area. You ensure a modern, scalable, and sustainable system architecture while supporting both strategic and operational initiatives. You report to the Business Area Manager for Core and Credits and have a dotted line to the Chief Technology Officer. The role includes people management responsibility for architects within the Core and Credit Business Area. The position is based in Mariehamn or Helsinki. Key responsibilities include defining and driving the technical roadmap, ensuring a future-proof system architecture, establishing technical guidelines, supporting modernization initiatives, collaborating with product managers, supporting project requirements, acting as project owner for architectural initiatives, leading and developing architects, supporting sales and customer dialogues, and acting as a trusted technical advisor. Qualifications include proven experience in senior technical leadership, system architecture, defining strategies, understanding modern architectures, familiarity with IBM i and RPGLE, experience with cloud platforms, balancing business and technical needs, stakeholder management, leadership skills, and fluency in English. Swedish language skills are a strong advantage.
