Specialist Oral Hygienist, Health Promotion - Itä-Uudenmaan hyvinvointialue - Porvoo, Finland

The North-Eastern Uusimaa Wellbeing Services County is offering a fixed-term position for a health-promoting oral hygienist as a SPECIALIST ORAL HYGIENIST from September 1, 2026, to May 31, 2029. In this role, you will act as a coordinator for health promotion across oral health care units in North-Eastern Uusimaa and participate as an expert in various team activities. You will also be responsible for coordinating pop-up clinics for schoolchildren and preschool children together with supervisors. You will serve as a contact person for the design of digital care pathways in oral health care, liaising between the oral health care management team and the digital team. You will plan and implement oral health promotion events together with dental hygienists and health promotion dental assistants, and participate in the planning and implementation of regional family coaching. Our work is never boring. We mainly work during office hours, i.e., day shifts. We offer good occupational health services and flexible working hours. Applicants must hold a licensed dental hygienist degree or an equivalent previous vocational qualification, as well as a license from the Finnish National Supervisory Authority for Welfare and Health (Valvira). We work bilingually, but you will do well with just one native language. The terms of employment are governed by the SOTE agreement. The task-specific salary is €3,326.24 per month. The probation period is 6 months. The position requires vaccination protection as per the Infectious Diseases Act § 48 and tuberculosis screening as per § 55.
