Responsibilities
- Manage construction activities from planning through project completion and handover to Operations
- Manage and coordinate General Contractors, subcontractors, and site personnel
- Monitor installation quality and ensure compliance with drawings and specifications
- Coordinate with Design, Security, Operations, and Project Management teams
- Develop and track project schedules with stakeholders
- Lead weekly progress meetings
- Support procurement activities and ensure timely delivery of equipment
- Monitor site progress, contractor performance, and resource utilization
- Ensure safety requirements are followed and incidents are reported
- Ensure commissioning activities meet standards
- Identify and escalate project risks and issues
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Construction Management
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field
- Experience managing contractors and construction activities within complex projects
- Experience from data centers, industrial facilities, energy projects, or critical infrastructure environments is highly beneficial
- Good understanding of construction scheduling, quality management, commissioning, health and safety, and contractor management
- Broad knowledge of Electrical, Mechanical, and CSA systems is an advantage
- Strong organizational and project management skills
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken
