Practical Nurse, Services for People with Disabilities, Raisio - Varsinais-Suomen hyvinvointialue - Raisio, Finland

You will work as a practical nurse in a 24-hour unit for people with intellectual disabilities in Kotikulla, Raisio. You will take care of daily activities for clients and guide recreational activities. You will also act as a key worker and be responsible for related tasks and areas. Kotikulla is home to 21 residents on a permanent basis, and we also have two interval rooms. In your unit, you will utilize versatile facilities such as daytime activity spaces, swimming and sauna facilities, and a fully fenced yard around the building. You will work in a professional team, supporting each other, while also taking responsibility for your own home group. The work ranges from basic daily care to planning joint events and celebrations. The work is on a three-shift schedule with a working time of 114.75 hours / 3 weeks. Additionally, you can utilize your strengths and interests as part of the unit’s activities. Support for your work includes monthly supervision and a line manager. An interest in working with people with intellectual disabilities and a desire to work person-centered are important. A valid medication license is required. Experience in working with people with intellectual disabilities, IMO skills, and good Finnish language skills are considered an advantage.
