Basic Education School Assistant, Special Class Teaching - Sotkamon kunta - Sotkamo, Finland

The Education Services of the Municipality of Sotkamo are seeking a basic education school assistant for a fixed-term position from August 5, 2026, to June 4, 2027. The workplace is Salmela School, with a working time of 32.51 hours/week (85%). The task is priced under the level pay system with the code 5KOU562B1. The role involves acting as a guide in a special class. We value good cooperation skills and flexibility. We require the ability to participate in medication administration for students. Experience working with support students is considered an advantage. The qualification requirement for the position is a practical nurse or school assistant qualification, or another suitable degree, or sufficient work experience in a similar role. For the possible interview, original degree and work certificates must be brought. The employer may conduct interviews remotely. The selected candidate must present a criminal record extract issued under the Act on the Criminal Record Register (504/2002) before starting work with children and young people.
