Part-time Lecturer in Computational Science, Artificial Intelligence, Physics - LUT University - Remote - Global

LUT University is seeking part-time lecturers for courses in mathematical sciences, computer science, and physics for the academic year 2026–2027. The work is suitable alongside studies. The main duties include teaching undergraduate students in mathematics, computer science, and/or physics during periods 1–4, with a weekly teaching load of 1–6 hours. Teaching periods are from August 31 to October 16, 2026; October 26 to December 11, 2026; January 11 to February 26, 2027; and March 8 to April 23, 2027. Materials are mostly prepared, but some tasks may include preparing solutions and other materials. Applicants should have a relevant basic degree or be enrolled in such studies (e.g., computational science and AI, applied mathematics, computer vision, and pattern recognition, or physics). Previous teaching experience is an advantage but not required. The position offers an opportunity to gain university teaching experience. The employment is fixed-term, with a salary of 13–27 euros per hour, according to LUT's pay practices. The work location is at the Lappeenranta or Lahti campus.
