Early Childhood Education Teacher, Monikko Daycare Center - Espoon kaupunki - Espoo, Finland

In your team, there are two childcare workers and your co-teacher is an early childhood education teacher. Monikko Daycare Center is open Monday to Friday from 6 am to 10 pm, and you have the option to work in shifts if desired, although it is not a requirement for the teaching position. Monikko Daycare Center is located in the center of Leppävaara, close to all local services. Nearby facilities include a sports park, ice rink, forest excursion sites, playgrounds, and a library. The center was opened in August 2021, and the facilities are modern and versatile. It features a water playroom, workshop, multi-purpose hall, and toddler rooms. There are quiet workspaces and meeting rooms for teachers. As an early childhood education teacher, you will be responsible, together with another teacher in the group, for children's pedagogical documents and the group plan. You will plan, implement, and evaluate the group's activities in collaboration with your team. You will participate in joint planning time and pedagogical meetings. The early childhood education curriculum guides your daily work. You will be supported by supervisors, other teachers, as well as a language and culture teacher and a comprehensive special education teacher in early childhood education. You will receive thorough orientation. We require excellent or good oral and written Finnish language skills. You are a positive, responsible, and flexible educator.
